Sales Policy

​

** All rabbits are healthy when they leave me. If you think there is a problem see warranty below.


Warranty is Null and Void if you do not follow the instructions on the New Bunny Care Sheet!

**I have the right to cancel a sale at any time and for any reason. If a deposit has been made it will be refunded, however if the buyer cancels a sale after the deposit has been received, the deposit will not be refunded.

**You are responsible to look at the rabbit to make sure I have not missed any disqualifications. I will let you know of any flaws I am aware of.

**I cannot guarantee show quality, reproductive ability, or quality of the offspring as this is near impossible to predict. If you find a disqualification after I have sold you the rabbit no refund will be given.

**If I hold a rabbit for you I do require a 50% NON Refundable deposit. If the rabbit is not picked up on the scheduled and within the scheduled time frame they are placed back up for sale (unless previous arrangements have been made with me prior to deposit being placed).....no refunds.

**The rabbit must be paid in full before it is allowed to leave. If you have a remaining balance due when you pick the rabbit up it must be paid in cash.

**If you schedule a pick up day and time and do not show, call, or email me that you are not coming in advance then your rabbit will be placed immediately up for sale. Please be respectful and call.

**All rabbits are sold on a first come first serve basis and the waiting list has first
choice.

**Every effort is made to properly determine the sex of your rabbit when you purchase it. However even long time breeders occasionally make a mistake when sexing young rabbits. As the buyer you fully acknowledge and accept this possiblity

Additionally

** I will not sale Doe's that are bred

** I do not offer a stud service

** All rabbits born here will have Debra' Bunny Barn prefix name on their pedigrees, and should not be changed.

** Pet quality rabbits will not come with pedigree's effective 1/1/2009

**Rabbits prices will vary depending on color, quality and sex.

Deposit Requirement and Pick up Guidelines

All bunnies require a NON refundable deposit for ANY holds. This deposit in not transferable to another rabbit later. You will receive an email a week before the rabbit is ready to go. We will schedule the date and time for you to pick up your bunny that works for BOTH of us! Please be on time as I have a family and other folks coming to pick up their new pets too. If I don't hear from you at least 4 hours in advance to reschedule and you do not show up for YOUR appointment (15 minute is the maximum wait time), your deposit will be forfeited and YOUR bunny will go to the next person on the list and be THEIR bunny. Thank you for your cooperation!.

Rabbit Warranty
This is a written warranty for the rabbits I sell.

I pride myself on being a responsible breeder. I will not knowingly sell any rabbit that is unhealthy or aggressive! With that said I offer the following warranty on my rabbits.......

If your rabbit falls into any catagory below I will offer a full replacement of like kind and value rabbit as soon as more are available, As long as it is within the limits outlined below:

1. Any rabbit that becomes ill within 3 days of purchase.
(No vet bills will be reimbursed)

2. Any rabbit that dies within 5 days of purchase for reasons that are not buyers fault.

***rabbits that become ill or die must be returned for replacement.

I breed rabbits specifically to be handled by children. I make every effort to carefully evaluate the personality of all my rabbits.

All Deposits are NON Refundable

NO CASH REFUNDS! 

 

*******Exclusions*******
 

1. Any evidence of neglect, injury or abuse (in mine or any veterinarian's opinion) will void the warranty. Be extremely careful when holding the bunny so that you do not squeeze it as this will injury the bunny internally.

2. Health guarantee is void if rabbits are housed with other animals including other rabbits. (rabbits cannot be housed with other pets especially guinea pigs due to the different dietary requirements which could be deadly for rabbits).

3. You must follow the feeding instructions or warranty is void: You must mix 1/2 of the feed I supply you with 1/2 of the brand of you choose to use permantently. A young rabbit's stomach can not handle an instant switch of food therefore anytime you change brands you must mix it 1/2 and 1/2 or you could cause diarrhea and/or death.

4. You must feed Timothy Hay at least twice a week, but I always recommend it daily. Rabbits cannot cough up a hairball (like a cat) and they cannot digest the hair with out the assistance of the hay, if you fail to give the rabbit hay it could result in your rabbit getting an internal hairball resulting in its death!

5. All babies are not to be fed fruits, vegi's or treats until they are 12 weeks of age. Then they are allowed small amounts and must be monitored to make sure they dont get diarrhea. If they get diarrhea discontinue that food or treat.
